Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has invited application for Sub-Inspectors and Assistant Sub-Inspectors for various para-military organizations and central police organizations. Applications have been invited from the suitable candidates for over 2100 vacancies in organizations like CRPF, BSF, ITBP and CISF.

According to the Commission there are 559 vacancies in CRPF, 295 in BSF, 470 in ITBP, 523 in CISF for the post of Sub Inspectors. 338 positions are vacant for the post of Assistant Sub-Inspectors in CISF.

Recruitment will be made on the basis of written examination, physical and medical examinations. Written test will be conducted at various centres throughout the country. The written examination will be divided into two papers. The first paper includes General intelligence and Reasoning, General Knowledge and General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, English Comprehension, while second paper is related to English language and Comprehension. Both the papers will be objective multiple choice test.

Interested eligible candidates may submit their application by 16th March to respective regional centres with requisite fee. However candidates from distant states and difficult areas may submit their applications by 23rd March. Interested candidates should go to the SSC for more details in this regard.
