Three students including a PhD scholar have been expelled from Jamia Millia Islamia, a central university, on basis of complaints and enquiry reports about sexual harassment cases against them. The PhD scholar has been found guilty for writing romantic text for his lady guide.

This is a rare case when complaint has been lodged by a teacher against a PhD student. It is notable that Jamia does not have any concrete policy for sexual harassment like DU or JNU. But proctorial level enquiry had been conducted after the complaints received by university administration.
