Indo-Pak students plan city in space, to go NASA

us-amityStudents of Amity International School (Saket) and Lahore Grammar School, Lahore will visit NASA. The team of these students, belong to 10th, 11th and 12th classes of both the schools, today met US Ambassador Timothy J. Roemer after winning 16th Annual International Space Settlement Design Competition. The competition was jointly sponsored by NASA and Boeing.

These students have designed a space city having a population of over 10,000 people through their creativity, technical competence, management skills and teamwork. They have also explained the way to overcome from the difficulties of a space settlement through their 40 page report. The team will join 12 other finalist team from other countries of the world to compete at NASA’s Johnson Space Centre in Houston, Texas.

I wish these students to fly space shuttle one day
