Delhi University has prepared itself to face any kind of fraud in the admission process. The university has asked various examination boards including CBSE to provide detailed CD of results of 12th examination to verify the claims regarding marks and other details, made by the applicants for admission in various undergraduate courses.

“As the process of submission of forms is over on 11th June the university will scan and analyze all the forms and its details and make a database. The database will be provided to all concerned colleges in form of CDs so that they could analyze and finalise the cut-off marks”, says S K Vij, Dean of Student Welfare of the university. All college will also get the database of results of different board to crosscheck the claims of students and veracity of their candidature, he says.

The university has already received the results of CBSE and other state boards in this regard except some states which have yet to declare their results. Letters have been sent to these states to send their results at the earliest. A meeting of principals of different colleges was also called last week in this regard. The CD will be provided to the colleges by 18th June so that they could announce their first cut-off on 22nd June.
