Socialist leader Francois Hallande will be the new President of France. He has won the presidential elections with 51.9% vote. Former President Nicolas Sarkozy has got 48.1% votes in the elections. Hallande was already moving ahead of the Sarkozy in the first round of the polls. The ongoing economic crisis, rising unemployment and relation with European Union were major issues during the election of the President.

Delhi has once again chosen to go with BJP for its civic amenities as the Denizens voted in favour of the party in all three newly constituted corporations.
