High-tech cheating has been unearthed during the first All India Post Graduate Medical Entrance Examination, conducted by AIIMS, for admission in various postgraduate programmes. The cheating involved highly educated people including MBBS doctor, two MBAs, one computer programmer and one IInd year MBBS student. They were using bluetooth technology, hidden mobile and micro earplugs and computer to get copies of question paper from the examination hall and provide answers to their clients. Delhi Police has arrested five persons in this case.

The dream to become professor in the medical colleges may get longer. The Medical Council of India (MCI) working in this direction. Several suggestions from various medical institutions have been received by MCI in this regard. According to the proposal the process the minimum duration to get promotion as the professor in a medical college will require at least nine years.
