Delhi University, which has been desperately trying to implement semester system at the undergraduate level without any improvement in the existing infrastructure and resources, is far behind in terms of student-faculty ratio. Even, the largest central university of the country has not find a place among top 100 universities in the world ranking of top Asian universities in terms of student-faculty ratio. According to a survey, released this week, University of Hyderabad has achieved top rank among the Indian institutions in terms of students-faculty ratio with fifth ranking in the list.
