India has today entered into elite club of Long Range Ballistic Missile (LRBM) with the launch of AGNI-V.The most advanced missile of the country, AGNI-V, having range of over 5000 kms and three propulsion stages, has been idegenously developed by DRDO.

The Indian Air Force (IAF) will in another three years put in place a new high-tech system to select fighter pilots for its cutting edge and high performance aircraft fleet that will also help in reducing air crashes due to human error, it was announced Thursday.
The system, an over Rs.200-million computerised mechanism developed by India’s defence scientists, “accurately” evaluates the multi-tasking qualities of a candidate, like psychomotor, information processing, coordination and visualisation skills, said Manas K. After successfully launching ‘Dhanush’ and Prithvi-II on Saturday India today successfully test-fired its indigenously developed, N-capable, ballistic missile Agni-1 from the Integrated Test Range (ITR). With this India has successfully tested three N-capable missiles in last 36 hours.
The roaring Agni-I missile was launched at 13.05 hrs. IST. It is notable that Dhanush is water to air missile while Prithvi-II and Agni-I are surface to surface missiles. All these ballistic missiles have been developed by DRDO.
