World Wrestling Champion and Beijing Olympic bronze medallist wrestler Sushil Kumar has finally got his lifetime partner for himself, an MBA graduate and daughter of his coach, mentor and Asiad Gold medalist Satpal.

Sushil is all set to marry coach Satpal Singh’s daughter Savi and the two will have a ring ceremony Nov 8. World’s number one wrestler when asked recently, in a TV interview, about his love affair or girlfriend he said that there is no scope for such things in the discipline of wrestling. He even said that he had no time to even think about these things.

But the buzz was already there about the new family affair when the Delhi Government showed its intention to take Sushil’s services for NCT of Delhi. It is notable that Satpal is currently Delhi’s Chief Sports Co-ordinator and Additional Director (Education). If believe on the sources Sushil can be engaged as Assistant or Deputy Director in the same department if things are materialized.

On the other hand Sushil has said it is an honour for him to marry his coach’s daughter. However, the date of marriage is yet to be finalized.

“It’s a great honour. My family members are excited about the ring ceremony,” Sushil said. Savi, the eldest daughter of Satpal, is an MBA graduate. She has also participated at national level tennis tournaments.
