Suresh Kalmadi, Chairman of Organising Committee of Commonwealth Games today expressed his displeasure on more weightage to Cricket. In a function related to the inauguration of Wrestling training venue in Delhi he said that only 10-12 countries play Cricket but other games related to Olympic Games are played in more than 200 countries.
Kalmadi, who is also head of Indian Olympic Association (IOA), said that due to importance, given to Cricket, other games of the country were being affected and demoralized. He said that the Commonwealth Games will work as a booster for the other games of the country.
