Over 500 girls will run on Thursday in ‘Anti Drug Rally’ in Delhi to create awareness against the harmful effects of drugs on the humankind. The rally will be flagged off from the Indraprastha College. Delhi’s Industry Minister Haroon Yusuf will flag off the rally. The rally is being organized on the occasion of 61st anniversary of National Cadet Crops (NCC).
The National Cadet Crops has today organized a Blood donation Camp in Delhi. The camp was inaugurated by Brigadier NS Jamwal Deputy Director General of NCC Directorate, Delhi, here today. Over 200 cadets and officers of NCC participated in the camp. The blood was collected by Armed Forces Transfusion Centre, which supplies blood to the needy Armed Forces personnel.
NCC, the largest uniformed youth organization of the country is celebrating its 61st Anniversary on 22 November 2009. To commemorate this important day week long activities are being held involving the young NCC Cadets. The Delhi Directorate of NCC which oversees the training of approximately 38000 NCC cadets of various schools and colleges of Delhi has also chalked out an ambitious plan of activities during the week.
