Studies related to Mass Communication and Film is the new buzzword in the schools affiliated to Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) as the Board has planned to introduce a course at the 10+2 level.

The course will be a kind of introductory course for the students of higher secondary classes and it will cover topics like history of mass communication, films and mass media in Indian perspective, acting, direction, use of animation, script writing and other technical aspects of the film industry.

The Board is also going to sign an MoU with the Institute of noted showman Subhash Ghai for the purpose. “The idea is to create foundation level knowledge among the school students regarding mass communication and film industry as both the industry have been growing rapidly.
