PG programme in Women’s & Gender Studies

IGNOU has launched a new PG Diploma program in Women’s & Gender Studies from July 2012 session. The programme will be offerred through distance education through the School of Gender & Development Studies (SOGDS). The last date for applications for the July 2012 session is 15th July.
Admission is open to undergraduates in any discipline who may be interested in acquiring conceptual, theoretical and analytical knowledge in the areas of women’s and gender studies, or furthering their interests in these areas. The one year, 34 credit, inter-disciplinary programme includes theories & concepts, power, arts & media and gendered bodies
