Swine Flu: Govt. appeals not to be panicky

After confirmation of a case of swine flu in Delhi the city government has said that Indian capital is fully prepared and committed to handle and control the Swine Flu H1N1 in the capital. Delhi’s Health Minister Kiran Walia today said that elaborate efforts have been made i.e. doctors, para-medical staff have been trained to handle situation, hospitals have been sensitized to handle the out-break of the disease.
Prof. Walia has said that full treatment of the Swine Flu H1N1 is available in the government hospitals and there is no need to become traumatized. She appealed the people to be cautioned about the disease and not to become panicky about it, since Government has done elaborate arrangements to investigate, handle and control the situation. She said that for any assistance, people can call at landline telephone no. 23921401.
Walia has clarified that it is mandatory for the Swine Flu H1N1 patients to get them admitted in the hospitals since the hospitals are well equipped with the facilities and stock of medicines to combat the disease
