Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is going to introduce on-line application and other reforms this year. The reforms are being introduced for the first time on the basis of recommendations made by second Administrative Reforms Commission (ARC).

The applicants, applying through online, will have facility to make payment thorough State Bank of India. This will be applicable for the applicants of Combined Graduate Level Examination (CGLE).
Selection for the posts of Sub Inspectors in Central Police Organizations (CRPF, ITBP etc.), Tax Assistant, Statistical Investigators and some other posts will be made through CGLE.
