The Evaluation Programme of the 44th Youth Parliament Competition, will open in the presence of Union Ministers Kapil Sibal, Pawan K Bansal and Chief Minister Shiela Dikshit. The Youth parliament 2009-2010 for the schools will open tomorrow, July 25, 2009 at 10.00 a.m. at Government Girls Sr. Sec. School, Rani Garden, Delhi.
Kapil Sibal, Minister of HRD and Pawan Kumar Bansal, Minister of Parliamentary Affairs will be the Chief Guest and Guest of Honour respectively on this occasion. Shiela Dixit, the Chief Minister Government of NCT Delhi will preside over the Function. Students of Govt. Girls Sr. Sec. School, Vivek Vihar, Delhi, the last year’s winner will present a short sitting of “Youth Parliament”.

The Competition is organized by the Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs in the schools under the Directorate of Education, Government of NCT of Delhi and NDMC every year since 1966.
