In a mood of not letting down the agitation against the imposition of semester system and extension of the Vice-Chancellor Prof. Deepak Pental, teachers’ body of Delhi University has firmly repeated its plan to go on total strike.
“There is no change in DUTA’s General Body’s decision. As we have announced earlier there would be total strike in the university from 7th of September”, DUTA President Aditya Narayan Mishra told fachcha.com.
There is no option but to go on strike as the everything is trying to be messed up by the university Vice-Chancellor to impose the semester system without any proper infrastructure, syllabus, human resources. Over eight thousand teachers will join the strike, being started from Tuesday, says Mishra.
