Different Boards of School Education have developed a consensus to introduce common core curriculum for Science and Mathematics for 10+2 stage from 2011. The consensus came in a meeting of Council of Boards of School Education (COBSE) today in Delhi after a long discussion in this regard. 20 Chairmen, Secretaries and representatives of different Boards participated in the meeting.
The meeting also discussed the draft core curriculum prepared by the COBSE in consultation with Boards earlier.
