Public Relations Society of India (PRSI), which plays an important role in the formation of courses and teaching of PR and Mass communication in different universities and institutions, has announced formation of an Executive Committee for regularizing all the activities of the Delhi Chapter of PRSI. The new Committee will ensure regularization of membership, organize Audit of Accounts and also look after all the activities of the Delhi Chapter which have not been functioning smoothly for the last one or two years. The new Committee has Neemo Dhar, Director – Public Relations and Public Grievances, Delhi Development Authority as its Chairperson, Mohan Shukla, Vice President [Govt. Affairs], Glenmark Pharma, as the Vice Chairman and Anuj Dayal, Chief Public Relations Officer of Delhi Metro Rail Corporation as the Secretary General. The other members of the new Committee are:

This Committee will work for a year and then general election will be organized as per the constitution of PRSI. The Committee will, on behalf of Delhi Chapter, work to promote objectives of PRSI which includes promoting excellence in PR profession through seminars, conferences and also to create awareness regarding the roles and functions of the P.R. profession in general, contribute in a constructive manner to various activities which can help better recognition of the PR functions.
