Students of various colleges and schools and educational institutions participated today in the mega mock drill today and got first hand knowledge about preparedness and safety measures during disaster in the Delhi. The exercise also included commuters, RWAs, market associations, courts, hospitals, government offices and other too participated in the exercise.

Delhi Fire Service, Municipal Corporation of Delhi, Civil Defence Organization, New Delhi Municipal Corporation, Directorate of Health Services, Delhi Police, CATS & St. Johns Ambulance Services, Delhi Jal Board, Delhi Transport Corporation, Mahanagar Telephone Nigam, BSES/NDPL too actively joined country’s biggest ever drill.

Delhi Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) in collaboration with National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) has conducted the drill to create awareness among the people for safety and preventive measure during the disasters like earthquake and others.
