Taking a tough stand Election Commission has today demanded intervention of the President of India seeking decisive action against the Union Law Minister Salman Khurshid for his comments regarding reservation of minorities.
The Commission has written the letter after an emergency meeting of the Commission amid assembly elections in UP. This is first time that the commission has written to President seeking an intervention against a cabinet minister in the recent years.
Adding fuel to the development BJP has demanded resignation of Salman Khurshid.
