I couldn’t care less whether that work is rated in positions or not.” He also talked about Bofors and said “For two years, Bofors accusations kept being labelled against my family and me. When we moved Court in London, not a single person that had been screaming from the roof tops came to justify their accusations”

Speaking to http://fachcha.com about it Akhilesh Jha, author of the book, says that the book contains rare photographs of the Mehdi Hassan and his family. Through this book Akhilesh Jha has also tried to take an account of the impact of partition on Music, Radio and Film Industry of India and Pakistan. Prestigious Indian Institute of Technology (IITs) may become out of reach for over 80 percent of the students of the state boards if JEE committee go by HRD Ministry’s suggestion. The HRD Minister Kapil Sibal has said that the minimum eligibility criteria for appearing JEE should be raised to 80-85 percent from existing 60 percent in the XII examination.

Saying that the existing norm of 60 percent is ‘not acceptable’ the HRD Minister said that students do not pay proper attention to the school education. Sibal has also constituted two committees for IIT reforms after the meeting of the IIT Council, the highest decision making body for the prestigious institute. These committees will look into curriculum reforms and examination reforms.

It is notable that over 80 percent of the students still study in the state board schools and not in CBSE’s schools. Getting 80 percent and above in these state boards are a tougher task than CBSE exams.
